What I have been working on over the last couple of weeks

The pillow below is a birthday gift for Emma my daughter in law

made from a design I digitized myself &  finished off the sides with a lovely bright Heather Bailey fabric 

The intended look was a Circus feel with bright & zingy colours 

 

BAH HUMBUG
this one is great it sums up how I feel about Christmas
and all its modern trappings
I much prefer simple handmade gifts!

The embroidery design for Bah Humbug was purchased from Urban threads

Oak Leaf Cushion

I made this cushion this week 

for the centre I used a piece of calico and stencilled 3 oak leaves then free hand painted the acorns then free motion stitched around the edges
